Tuesday, September 27, 2016 – 7:30 p.m.
Buell Theatre[/vc_column_text][mk_divider style=”single_dotted” border_color=”#000000″ width=”1/1″ el_position=”first last”][vc_column_text]As part of its 50th anniversary season, the critically-acclaimed and award-winning Roundabout Theatre Company is proud to present Sam Mendes and Rob Marshall’s Tony Award-winning production of Cabaret. At the infamous Kit Kat Klub, the Emcee, Sally Bowles and a raucous ensemble take the stage nightly to tantalize the crowd – and to leave their troubles outside. But as life in pre-WWII Germany grows more uncertain, will the decadent allure of Berlin nightlife be enough to get them through their dangerous times? Hear some of the most memorable songs in theatre history, including “Cabaret”, “Willkommen” and “Maybe This Time”. Leave your troubles outside – life is beautiful at Cabaret, John Kander, Fred Ebb and Joe Masteroff’s Tony-winning musical.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/mk_page_section][vc_row padding=”0″][vc_column][vc_separator color=”custom” style=”double” border_width=”3″ accent_color=”#e58e12″][/vc_column][/vc_row][mk_page_section bg_color=”#ffffff” enable_3d=”true” speed_factor=”0″ top_shadow=”true” min_height=”50″ padding_top=”20″ padding_bottom=”20″ first_page=”false” last_page=”false” order_color=”#e5e5e5″ sidebar=”sidebar-1″][vc_column width=”1/2″][mk_image src=”https://www.passporttothearts.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/passport-la-boheme.jpg” image_width=”576″ image_height=”382″ group=”_general” link=”https://www.coloradosymphony.org/” target=”_blank” align=”center” animation=”left-to-right” crop=”true” width=”1/1″ el_position=”first”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]

The heartbreaking story of impassioned, young bohemians in a reimagined contemporary Paris was also adapted into the Broadway smash, Rent. La Bohème tells the timeless tale of love found and lost between Rodolfo and Mimi as they enjoy their youth in the lively Latin Quarter. The Colorado Symphony Chorus and the Colorado Children’s Chorale add another layer to the complexity of this classic story.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/mk_page_section][vc_row padding=”0″][vc_column][vc_separator color=”custom” style=”double” border_width=”3″ accent_color=”#e58e12″][/vc_column][/vc_row][mk_page_section bg_color=”#ffffff” enable_3d=”true” speed_factor=”0″ top_shadow=”true” min_height=”50″ padding_top=”20″ padding_bottom=”20″ first_page=”false” last_page=”false” order_color=”#e5e5e5″ sidebar=”sidebar-1″][vc_column width=”1/2″][mk_image src=”https://www.passporttothearts.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/passport-opera.jpg” image_width=”576″ image_height=”382″ group=”_general” link=”https://www.operacolorado.org/” target=”_blank” align=”center” animation=”left-to-right” crop=”true” width=”1/1″ el_position=”first”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]
